Welcome @big-yawn to the Butter Mix!
Big Yawn are a four-piece group that present familiar electronic sounds amplified as a live band. Live performance is their natural habitat. Hypnotic drums collide with synths, samples, dub FX and heavy bass to create a unique energy. The group have been apart of Australia's underground scene for quite a few years - appearing in groups like Exotic Snake and Yolke, as well as being affiliated with the Fallopian Tunes label.
Their debut LP 'No!' dropped earlier in 2020 through @researchrecords to mark a new chapter in their journey. A more refined and deeper look into the bands live presence and studio processes. Next week their follow up mini album 'S.P.G' drops on cassette - some of their finest work to date.
